9/16中午農業部長官與東海大學陳怡蓁助理教授蒞臨理事長薛瑞銘府中，與理事長、秘書長就犬貓繁殖育種與犬種剪耳、斷尾、疫苗施打跟寵物評鑑及血統書等各方面進行討論交換意見。
On September 16, the Minister of Agriculture, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Yi-Jen Chen of Tunghai University, visited KCT President Mr. Hsueh Jui-Ming.
They held a constructive discussion with the KCT President and the Secretary-General on various topics, including the breeding of dogs and cats, ear cropping and tail docking practices, vaccination protocols, pet evaluation standards, and pedigree certification.
